This year was precisely 14 weeks long. It seems like only 3 months ago, I was launching this site for Valentine's Day. Then it was Summer, then my September birthday, we had a three hour Thanksgiving and now, December is running like he stole something. Time is playing no games, it is MOVING. So are we moving along with it? I'm ready for 2017, I mean, I have to be because it's here.
I won't rehash or do a year in review because honestly, I just don't want to. I bet I did some pretty awesome things this year and I'm happy to leave them back there. I would like to be more present and a way to do that is understand that memories are great, I like making them but I don't need a rundown to know how good I have it. I may not have everything I want right now but I'm on my way and that journey is ok with me. Also, I'm in Australia right now, and as I type I kinda can't keep the days together. This trip is incredible and I just want to focus on this, LOL
Ending 2016 10,000 miles away seems like the exact way I need to end it. 2016 has been a year of firsts and lasts and everything in between. This year brought a lot of growing pains with it. Expanding and growing can cause some discomfort; this year I really broadened my horizons and jumped out on many a limb. Sometimes I tripped; I stumbled and slowed but I didn't stop. I'm excited to see what's in store for 2017. I hope you are too! I've met some new friends, dismissed some old ones and am ready to face the future! Hope you are too!
