I just wanted to tell you to go out there and SLAY YOUR DAY!

I mean just that too, YOUR day. I want you to do something that makes you unequivocally happy today. We hinge our happiness on a lot of external constructs that sometimes really have nothing to do with us. We are being bombarded with images and ideas of what we should be as women and very rarely is that to just be content and happy with yourself. So, if you see it nowhere else, I want you to be happy with whatever it is you're doing FOR YOU.

I want you to luxuriate in what it is that makes you; YOU.

Be STRONG, SASSY, COY, SMART. AGGRESSIVE, AMBITIOUS, CARING, MATERNAL, STOIC, PASSIONATE, SINGLE, A WIFE, A MOTHER, A SISTER, A FRIEND, a boss, a teammate, pLEASE BE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE BECAUSE YOU CAN DO WHATEVER IT IS YOU WANT TO DO....

The only thing I ask you not to do is to waste who are you. Don't shrink it down to fit in. Don't use your powers for evil. Use your femininity to bring light into this world that doesn't really deserve us but needs our saving. Bring all the women around you up. Secure your sisterhood and light it on fire. Make every woman around you feel good and pay it forward. We have to take care of each other but before we can do that we have to take care of ourselves so make sure you hydrate and keep your mind sharp because it's happening.....our time is coming, sike! It's here!
